Circle of Cancer Care is a charitable non-profit organization created to serve female cancer patients in Schertz, Cibolo, New Braunfels, and surrounding area.  We are directly engaged with military, civilian, business leaders as well as local cancer patient in order to provide excellent services. We are  experts in understanding and meeting the needs of our unique community that has had a population growth of over 600 percent.   Since we are a smaller organization we are more agile, less bureaucracy, and able to quickly respond to our clients.  We always welcome your direct feedback and invite you to share your suggestions on how to serve our community in the best possible way.

Programs

Support Group

We come together every 4th Sunday of the month, at 3 pm, at the Schertz Library to provide emotional, social, and practical support for fighters and survivors.  Join our “Journey to Survivorship” group!

Appointment Buddies

Find a buddy that will provide transportation and good company for your next cancer related appointment.  Services contingent on availability of a volunteer.  Call to request an “appointment buddy”.

We help you navigate through the different medical programs and options available for you.

Activism

Personalize your support and receive information, techniques, guidance geared to fit your needs and your diagnosis.

Financial Aid

Currently we offer limited financial support for eligible survivors up to $1000 per calendar year for cancer related medical co-payments.  Survivor must met financial eligibility requirements.

Cancer related prescription drugs financial assistance.
Up to $1000 a calendar year for eligible clients.

Wigs & Hair

Our partnership with Venita Hair Boutique allows us to provide a free fabulous human hair lace wig to an eligible cancer patients.

Journey to Survivorship

Join us every 4th Sunday of the month at the Schertz Library

After the initial shock a cancer diagnosis we all must embark on journey of cancer survivorship.  The Journey to Survivorship group creates an opportunity for female cancer patients to learn from each other, and explore topics such as how to talk about cancer with our family, friends, and health care professionals,  understanding treatment plans and options, understand body changes and associated feelings and emotions. We invite guest speakers and professional on topics such as nutrition, legal matters, and other health related topics.  We look forward to seeing you there!
